2008 Unit Goals

October 1, 2008 | News, Newsletter

The 2008 Executive Board outlined three goals for this year at the October, 2007 Rally.

1. Maintain or increase Unit membership this year.
Our Unit has enjoyed a membership increase of 1 from October, 2007 (50 members) to October, 2008 (51 members).
2. Make all feel welcome and part of the group. Two examples:

  1. Karl and Erika Schaette brought Tom and Bettie Bolander the May Rally. Even though Tom and Bettie live in Fayetteville, TN, they had such a good time they not only joined WBCCI; they joined our Unit.
  2. Eighteen unit members worked on the rally committee of our six main rallies.

3. Have a Unit activity every month
The Unit had free rallies in November, 2007 and July, 2008, Christmas dinner in December, 2007, winter luncheons in January, February, and March, and organized rallies in April, May, June, August, September and October, 2008.
