THE SEPTEMBER RALLY theme is “Clownin’ Around”.  Friday evening will be an “auction” to raise money for an Altamont charity.  Plan to bring one or at most two items to be auctioned.  (Your President will bring a couple of loaves of his “famous” home made sourdough bread.) Saturday evening will feature local entertainment.   Put it on your calendars now!

Curtis Wheat is recovering nicely from his bladder surgery.  He will begin a series of radiation and chemotherapy treatments very soon.Sarah Kirchner has graduated to a cane and is doing physical therapy treatments twice weekly.  She says her brother tells her PT stands for pain and torture.Elmer and Norma Koen did not attend the May rally since their granddaughter was graduating from high school that weekend.
