Conrad passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2011.  A member of the Southern Illinois Unit since January 1971, he was faithful, active, helpful and volunteered for many tasks at region rallies.  Conrad was a past unit president serving in 1987.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 1:00-2:00PM at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola, IL.  Services will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 2:00PM at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola with Pastor Tim Heinecke officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery with full military honors by Anna VFW Post 3455 and the Illinois Honor Guard.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Veterans Home or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
