It’s a sad day when the trailer gets winterized, but it was a good camping season that lasted right up through the 7th of December.

The Airstream endured temperatures down to -2 degrees during deer season in Wisconsin, helped only by solar power and a generator to keep the heat blowing.  The last day of the camping season closed with a successful Southern Illinois deer hunt.

Before we know it we’ll be de-winterizing and ready for the 2015 season starting with a nice campfire at the 5th Annual Back to the Basics Rally at Hidden Springs State Forest in April.
